Ottawa, ON (WBNG Binghamton) Following the Binghamton Senators 4-2 loss in Toronto, goalie Andrew Hammond was recalled by the Ottawa Senators on an emergency basis.

He is currently tied for tenth in the AHL with 17 wins this season. Hammond has played in nine straight games for the B-Sens as Nathan Lawson has been sick and dealing with injuries.

Hammond will likely back-up Robin Lehner Thursday night in Ottawa as the Senators host Detroit.

Sens starting goalie Craig Anderson is at home with his wife as they are expecting the birth of a child.
