State College, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Syracuse and Penn State are set to open up their respective seasons on Saturday at MetLife Stadium. For one Nittany Lion defensive lineman, this one means a little bit more.

Johnson City grad DaQuan Jones will be suiting up against the Orange on Saturday. For Jones, playing against a team from upstate New York, gives him a little extra motivation.

"You know it means a lot because they're a home town school and everyone back home is half Syracuse fans," he said earlier this month. "So it's going to be a lot of fun to go to MetLife and hit them. It's going to be fun."

Jones enters the season with the most starts of any returning defensive lineman for Penn State.

For Syracuse, the game marks a chance to end a losing streak against PSU. The Orange has lost its last four against the Nittany Lions, and SU hasn't beaten Penn State since 1988.
