Jones confident against Sonnen

(WBNG Binghamton) It's been a few years since Jon Jones has fought at the Prudential Center, but it's a place where he has plenty of fond memories. That's where he won his first UFC Light Heavyweight Title in March of 2011.

Now a little more than two years later he returns to Newark to take on Chael Sonnen in UFC 159. When meeting with the media on Thursday, the two were both supremely confident that they'll come away with the belt on Saturday.

"It has all been the same for years," said Jones. "I don't understand how he's been so successful with it. I'm not going to allow that to happen to me, to know what he has and still allow it to work on me."

"I think Jon's the best, but I think I'm better. I think he's great, but I think I'm greater," said Sonnen. "You know he's had a good run, he's got a lot of skills he's got an interesting style, but I'm a whole other deal."

The two will meet again on Friday at the Prudential Center for the weigh-in.
