Johnson City (WBNG BINGHAMTON) DaQuan Jones.

Defensive tackle.

Tennessee Titans.

After waiting all of Friday night only to not hear his name called, it didn't take long for DaQuan Jones to hear it Saturday. The Tennesse Titans selected the Johnson City grad in the 4th round (112th overall pick) of the NFL Draft.

"When it happened, it felt like a weight was just lifted off my shoulders, I felt so much better," Jones told Action Sports Saturday night.

"I felt relaxed, I felt calm, I just thought it's finally here. It's my time, it was just an awesome feeling."

"I'm going to go there with a chip on my shoulder and show NFL teams and players that I can hang with the best of them. I'm going to make my name in the league and hopefully make a good name for myself, get my family out of here and have a good life. That's my main goal."

Jones said he will fly to Nashville, TN Monday morning.
