Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Vestal took at 3-0 lead in the fourth inning, but Maine-Endwell responded. The Spartans responded with six unanswered runs on their way to a 6-3 win in the Section IV Class A final.

The title is the Spartans seventh straight sectional baseball title.

Maine-Endwell moves on to face the winner of a game between the champions from Section 1 and Section 9.

Seton wins back-to-back titles

Michael Korchak tossed a complete game while allowing just one run, which propelled Seton to it's second straight Section IV Class C title on Friday.

Korchak nearly allowed Thomas A. Edison back in the game with a throwing error in the seventh inning. With Edison down to its final out Korchak fielded an easy comebacker, but threw it over the first baseman's head. The ball left the field of play, putting runners on second and third instead of allowing the Spartans to score.

Korchak struck out the next batter to end the game.

Seton now advances to the state tournament where they'll look to defend their state title from last season.

The Saints will next play the winner from Section 3.
