Maine-Endwell marches into state finals

Despite trailing after the first quarter, Maine-Endwell stormed back to take the lead and never look back, beating Harborfields 53-46 in the New York State Class A Girl's Semifinal Friday.

The Spartans were led by 12 points from both Becca Dewing and Daniella Dean, and also got 11 points from Julie Yacovoni in the win.

M-E now plays Troy at Hudson Valley Community College Saturday at 7 for the New York State Championship.
