Marte Traded To Oakland

Jefry Marte, who spent most of last season with the B-Mets, was traded to Oakland for outfielder Collin Cowgill Tuesday.

Marte was named to the Eastern League All-Star team last year, while hitting .251 with nine homers. He also led the team with 16 errors while playing primarily third base.

Cowgill split time between the big leagues and Triple-A last season in the A's Organization.
