Michigan ends Orange's run in Final Four

Atlanta, GA (WBNG Binghamton) The Michigan Wolverines held off a furious rally by Syracuse late in the second half and held on for a 61-56 win in the Final Four.

James Southerland hit a 3 point shot to pull the Orange within 3 late in the second half.

They had one last chance, but Trevor Cooney drove the lane and missed the shot and Michigan got the rebound and a breakaway dunk for the final scoring margin.

C.J. Fair led Syracuse with 22 points. Brandon Triche added 11 for Syracuse.

Michigan had 3 players in double figures...Tim Hardaway Jr. (13 points), Glen Robinson III (10 points) and Mitch McGary (10 points, 12 rebounds).
