(WBNG Binghamton)
2 years ago the programs from Deposit and Hancock merged.
Last season they went 4-4 and made the playoffs.
And now there are new changes.
Starting with their head coach.
Jeremiah Johnson takes the reigns as head coach after spending 4 years as an assistant with the teams defense.
But his big change this year will come on offense.
" The strength of our offense is our backfield, definitely. We're starting an all junior backfield and they're fast and they like to run the ball.
We're going to try to push the ball to the outside and then come back to the middle spreading it out. Trying to use our speed to our advantage."
" Big kids still get the ball. It's not like an "I" formation, it's more like a spread, but running up the middle and the outside."
The Eagles will look to soar back into the postseason again this year.
We'll talk about their defensive strengths coming up tonight at 11.
