Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Some of Section IV's best wrestlers will compete for the right to wrestle for a national title this weekend at SUNY Broome.

USA Wrestling's New York State championships take over the Ice Center starting Friday night. Wrestlers will compete for titles in both Freestyle and Greco Roman over the course of the three days.

State wrestling coach Rick Gumble says it's the same tournament that helped develop the skills of UFC light heavyweight champion Jon 'Bones' Jones and four-time NCAA Champion Kyle Dake when they were growing up.

"This tournament has helped those young people from Section IV grow and helped USA Wrestling at the Olympic level and at the professional mixed martial arts level too," said Gumble
