Greene, NY (WBNG Binghamton)
After 10 years at the helm, Tim Paske has resigned as the head football coach for the Greene Trojans.
Paske said Tuesday evening that he wants to spend more time with his four young children, and that coaching football took too much time away from them. However, he still plans to be around and support the program as a teacher at the school.
According to Paske, the team was a little shocked when he told them his decision last week before officially handing in his letter of resignation.
Last year, Paske was suspended by the school for reportedly not making his team walk in the homecoming parade. That decision brought forth a large outcry of support for the Trojans' coach.
Otherwise, Paske's coaching term at Greene was impressive, winning 59 games during 10 seasons as head coach.
