Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators are also looking to bounce back after a down year last year.
New head coach Luke Richardson brings a positive, upbeat attitude to this year's team.
He says his main goal is to get the players up to speed quickly once training camp starts.
And to start winning right away.
He feels if the team can get hot right out of the gate, it will translate into good things at the end of the season.
"If you can create that environment where everybody is positive and confident in themselves, you can do that in the playoffs and we want to challenge for the cup. Obviously everybody says that right now, but we really want to get back. I think we have some players that were here two years ago that won. We want to get that atmosphere out and make it contagious to the other players that are new," says Richardson.
Training camp starts in a little over a month at the Broome County Veterans Memorial arena.
The B-Sens will have their first preseason game at home on Wednesday, October 3rd when they host Hershey.
