Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Maine-Endwell, Union-Endicott and Chenango Forks boy's soccer teams got a unique challenge on Wednesday. They all scrimmaged the team from Harvey Grammar School in England at Spartan Stadium.

The team from Harvey Grammar school has been staying with M-E players for the week.

They have been training together, but more importantly has given the Spartans a chance to learn some things off the field as well.

"I hope they definitely get a friendship out of it and some memories, but just a lot of learning, on the soccer field, off the soccer field, about the different cultures," said M-E head coach Chris Riley. "You know with all the technology today and Facebook and instagram, hopefully these guys keep in touch for a long time to come. It may open up a door down the road for someone."

The Harvey Grammar school makes the trip to the area every two years.
