Cicero, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Section IV had managed just two wins against Section 3 in boy's lacrosse state playoff games over the last three years. After a trio of games Wednesday night, that number stayed the same.

In Class B, Vestal was doubled up by Jamesville-Dewitt. The Golden Bears fell 22-11 in a rematch of last year's state playoff match-up, also won by the Red Rams.

Chenango Forks managed just four goals against defending state champion Cazenovia in the Class C state quarterfinals. The Blue Devils lost 16-4.

In Class A, Corning suffered a similar fate to both Vestal and Forks. The Hawks went down 6-4 to Fayetteville-Manlius.
