(WBNG Binghamton) Mike Hoffman led the Binghamton Senators in points last year, despite getting called up to Ottawa in February. On Thursday, Hoffman was inked to a one-year, two-way contract by the Senators.

Ottawa's assistant General Manager Pierre Dorian confirmed on Thursday that Hoffman has been re-signed by the team.

In 25 games with the Sens he recorded three goals and three assists this year.

Dorian also said on Thursday that B-Sens forward Stephane Da Costa had turned down the Senators contract offer. Da Costa will likely take his game to Europe next season.

He ranked second for Binghamton in points last year with 58 in 56 games.
