Ithaca (WBNG BINGHAMTON) This weekend, Los Angeles Kings captain and Ithaca native Dustin Brown is bringing the Cup home for a second time.

Brown's wife, Nicole, confirmed over the phone her husband will be at Cass Park rink in Ithaca this Saturday, July 5 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

Brown last brought the Cup home in 2012, when he won his first championship with the Kings.

Two years ago, the event also served as a fundraiser for the Semper Fi Fund. That money came from limited photo opportunities with the Stanley Cup for a suggested 5 dollar donation.

Nicole said this time, the money will go to various Ithaca charities.

Los Angeles won its second championship in three years on June 14, when the Kings defeated the New York Rangers, 3-2, in a double overtime thriller in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Brown scored two goals during the Finals.
