Syracuse, NY (WBNG Binghamton) After meeting with the media and holding a quick practice, Syracuse traveled to Atlanta Tuesday evening in preparation of Saturday's Final Four game against Michigan.

It was a trip though, many thought the Orange would have made over the past two or three seasons. Instead it's this group of Syracuse players that is playing in the NCAA's final weekend.

Michael Carter-Williams admits though that some of the veteran guards he played with during last year's run prepared him for this year's tournament.

"I learned a lot from them. I learned what it took to win in the tournament," said Carter-Williams. "They're great leaders, and they taught me how to be a leader on the court, and I just learned so much from them and I thank them for it."

The Orange has a week full of practice including one that is open to the public in the Georgia Dome on Friday. Saturday's game is scheduled to begin around 8:45 on WBNG.
