Detroit, MI (WBNG Binghamton) Yankees try to hang on to the ALCS but fail Tuesday in Michigan.

Yankees lost 2-1.

In the 4th inning, Tiger's Delmon Young homered to left field, putting Detroit on the board, 1-0.

Next inning, Miguel Cabrera got the RBI when Quintin Berry scored, Detroit 2-0.

In the 9th, Yankees Eduardo Nunez got a homer, finally putting the Yankees on the board.

Final: Detroit 2, NY Yankees, 1
