(WBNG Binghamton) The Ottawa Senators re-signed Patrick Wiercioch to a three-year contract on Monday. Wiercioch played in 42 of Ottawa's 48 games last year after beginning the season in Binghamton with the B-Sens. With Ottawa, Wiercioch tallied a career-high 19 points, scoring five goals and adding 14 assists. In Binghamton, he played in 32 games while scoring 10 goals and tallying nine assists. Kleinendorst back in the AHL The only coach to lead the Binghamton Senators to a Calder Cup Championship, is back in the AHL. Kleinendorst was announced as the first coach of the Iowa Wild Monday. The Wild was formerly known as the Houston Aeros, which is ironically the team Kleinendorst's B-Sens beat for the 2011 Calder Cup. After leaving the B-Sens two years ago, Kleinendorst spent last season coaching at the University of Alabama at Huntsville.
