Binghamton men’s basketball defeated America East leader Vermont 57-53 in dramatic fashion Tuesday night from the Events Center.
The Bearcats (1-26, 1-13 AE) snapped the visitors’ 10-game win streak and more importantly, got in the win column for the first time this season. Sophomore guard Robert Mansell scored 18 points, freshman forward Ben Dickinson had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds and junior guard Jimmy Gray iced the game with a pair of free throws with four seconds left.
