Eric Wiseman is truly the total package. He's racked up more than 2000 yards the past two seasons, he's seventh in his senior class and best of all, the kid's a culinary genius.
"I like to make like cookies and stuff because then you make cookies and you get to eat them, " Eric says. "I've made dinner before. I've made shrimp and stuff. I've made shrimp parmesan, I've made chicken parmesan."
Eric's also got a long list of colleges interested in his football and academic talents including Princeton and Harvard, but sees his kitchen skills coming in handy next year.
"The worst thing is you have cold cereal every day so I want to be able to eat," says Eric.
Eric missed a few games this season with an ankle injury. That left him with more free time than normal which allowed him to work on a few new recipes for the perfect meal.
Eric says, "If it's something casual I'll probably just make chicken alfredo but I made this lemon meringue once, lemon meringue pie. That was pretty good."
A well-balanced meal from an All-Star running back and honor roll student. Not the most popular combination and that opens Eric up to some good-natured ribbing from his friends.
"they're like smiling and eating this is so good but you're such a dork, " he says. "It's all in good fun."
The least his friends can do is help with the dishes. Eric Wiseman's a true renaissance man and he's also this week's Academic All-Star.
