The Binghamton Mets most recent winning streak ended at three games on Sunday afternoon as Bowie gets the 4-0 shutout victory. Things did get interesting in the top of the eighth inning when B-Mets relief pitcher, Robert Paulk, hit Bowie shortstop, Pete Shier, for the second time in three days. Shier had to be retrained on his way to first base. Juan Samuel was thrown out of the game after the next batter while arguing on behalf of B-Mets shortstop, Kevin Rios, who was taken out by Shier with a high slide.
