Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Mets game against the Altoona Curve on Sunday has been canceled due to inclement weather and will not be made up.
Sunday’s rainout represents the first canceled game for Binghamton since 2009, when they failed to make up two contests.
The cancellation shortens the series between the B-Mets and Curve to three games.
Binghamton’s 7-6 win Saturday night secured the series victory, their seventh in a row.
Ticketholders for Sunday's game can redeem their ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2011 home game.
Binghamton (61-72) hits the road for the final time in 2011 with a four-game series in Erie, Pennsylvania against the SeaWolves.
