The Binghamton Mets slim playoff hopes were dealt another blow.

All-Star pitcher Josh Stinson has been promoted to Triple A Buffalo.

In 14 starts, Stinson was 9 and 3 with a 4.24 ERA.

He started the year in the bullpen, before being moved into the starting rotation on May 30th.

Stinson was the Bison's starting pitcher in game one of a doubleheader Sunday, giving up 3 earned runs in 6 innings.

He took the loss against Pawtucket.
