(WBNG Binghamton)

The Binghamton Mets 7:05 PM game Friday night against the New
Britain Rock Cats has been postponed due to rain and unplayable field conditions. The
game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at New Britain Stadium Saturday
tomorrow beginning at 5:00 PM. The two games are slated for seven innings each.
The B-Mets have now been rained out eight times in 2011 and twice in New Britain. The
Rock Cats have suffered the most home wash outs in the Eastern League with eight.
LHP Robert Carson (2-7, 4.27) will start for the B-Mets and New Britain will counter with
RHP Liam Hendriks (3-2, 3.32) in game one of the twin bill. The starters for game two
have yet to be named.
