Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The B-Mets season just ended, but the front office is already planning for next year.
The team will open the 2012 season at home on April 5th when it hosts the Akron Aeros.
They'll be home for numerous major holidays again in 2012 including Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day eve and Labor Day.
And the front office is excited to announce that the Trenton Thunder, the Double A affiliate of the New York Yankees, will come to Binghamton 3 times next season.
This year, they only came once.
"We thank each and every fan that supports us every year. We just...we're a small town and our support is there and we really appreciate everyone that comes out here at the ballpark and we look forward to seeing them next year," says general manager Jim Weed.
Season tickets for the 2012 season are currently on sale.
