July 26, 2012 Updated Jul 26, 2012 at 8:51 PM EST

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Thursday night’s game between the Binghamton Mets and Portland Sea Dogs was postponed due to inclement weather. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader starting Friday evening at 5:35 PM.

The teams will play two seven-inning contests with gates opening at 5:00 PM.

The postponement marks the sixth of the season and first since June 12. Ticketholders for tonight’s game can redeem their ticket for one of equal or lesser value to any future 2012 regular season home game.

The B-Mets (48-55) kick off their series with the Sea Dogs with a pair of seven-inning contests on Friday. Game one will pit RHP Cory Mazzoni against LHP Drake Britton. LHP Darin Gorski opposes RHP Mike McDonald in the nightcap.
