Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Friday night’s contest between the Binghamton Mets and Akron RubberDucks has been postponed due to inclement weather. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, April 5th with game one scheduled to start at 12:05 PM. Both games are scheduled to be seven innings in length. Game two will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the opener.

Fans with tickets to Friday’s game can redeem them for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any future 2014 B-Mets regular season home game excluding the contest on July 4th.

The B-Mets (0-1) will send RHP Rainy Lara to the hill in game one to make his Double-A debut. RHP Tyler Pill will get the ball in the nightcap.
