Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Ask manager Wally Backman and he'll tell you the starting pitching for the B-Mets this season has not been the problem.

And he admits, he doesn't expect a couple of his pitchers to stay in the minor leagues for long.

One is all-star Jeurys Familia.

Familia is 0-2 with a 3.35 ERA in 8 starts this season.

Backman sees bright things in Familia's future.

"There's no question. If it was me personally, you could start the clock on Familia, you can start the clock on Harvey. Ya know, they have 3 options and I guarantee you, those guys won't be in the minors 3 more years," says Backman.

Familia pitched for the World team in last year's futures game.
