Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

Major league baseball splits up opening day over what seems like 3 weeks.
Tomorrow, the Eastern League year begins in full force.
The B-Mets are at home and will host Akron tomorrow night.

Early on, pitching has been labeled a strength for this year's team, and for good reason.
The organization's pitcher of the year is here, as is the top overall prospect, and former 1st round draft pick.
But also back is Collin McHugh, who a year ago was voted the B-Mets pitcher of the year.
And he'll be the one that takes the mound first for the opening day start.

After McHugh the rotation will be top prospect Zack Wheeler, then left-hander Darin Gorski, the organization's pitcher of the year in 2011.
Then it's right-hander Greg Peavey, and left-hander Mark Cohooon
