April 7, 2014 Updated Apr 7, 2014 at 2:36 PM EST

BINGHAMTON (WBNG BINGHAMTON) Monday night’s contest between the Binghamton Mets and Erie SeaWolves has been postponed due to inclement weather. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, June 14th with game one scheduled to start at 6:05 PM.

Fans with tickets to Monday’s game can redeem them for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any future 2014 B-Mets regular season home game excluding the contest on July 4th.

The postponement marks the second of the season for the B-Mets and third for SeaWolves. Binghamton experienced just one postponement in their first 66 games of last season.

Binghamton and Erie will look to open the rain-shortened series on Tuesday night with a single game starting at 6:35 PM. The B-Mets (2-2) will send RHP Greg Peavey to the mound against RHP Wilsen Palacios.
