Named Player of the Week, den Dekker Called Up to AAA

There is good news and there is bad news.
And the bad news is worse.
The best hitter on the B-Mets has been called up to triple-A.
Tonight Matt den Dekker got the news he's headed to Buffalo.

Today he was also named the Eastern League player of the week.
Den Dekker hit .630 and collected four doubles, a triple, nine runs scored and four RBI during the six-game stretch.
He racked up two hits or more in every game during the week, raising his batting average to .340, the highest in the Eastern League.
den Dekker leads the league in hits, doubles, slugging percentage, runs scored and total bases.
He is tied for the Eastern League lead in extra-base hits.
The B-Mets have the night off before starting a series at home tomorrow against Reading.
