Puello, Muno collect Eastern League Honors

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) After helping the team post a 19-5 record in the month of June, Binghamton Mets outfielder Cesar Puello was named Player of the Month on Monday.

Puello led the league in batting average (.441), home runs (8) and RBI (24) throughout the month of June. He was also selected to the Eastern League All-Star game in his first season with the B-Mets.

B-Mets infielder Danny Muno was named the league's Player of the Week on Monday as well.

Muno hit .417 while hitting three home runs and led the league with 12 RBI during the stretch from July 1-7.
