    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Mets followed an 83-minute rain delay with four sixth inning runs, en route to 6-1 victory over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats Saturday afternoon at NYSEG Stadium. John Gant beat the Fisher Cats for the second time, while Adam Kolarek earned his first save in over 11 months, extending his scoreless streak to 14 innings.

  • Series sweep falls through quacks in Akron

    Akron, OH (WBNG Binghamton) Akron infielders Erik Gonzalez and Yandy Diaz drove in seven runs to lead the RubberDucks past the Binghamton Mets, 9-4, on Sunday afternoon at Canal Park. Gonzalez’s three-run double in the sixth highlighted a four-run inning and crushed Binghamton’s hopes at a series sweep. The B-Mets stranded 11 runners, including eight in scoring position, while watching their three-game winning streak come to an end.

  • Fulmer earns first win as B-Mets top Akron, 5-4

    Akron, OH (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Mets erupted for five runs in the sixth following a 19-minute rain delay and held off a late Akron rally in a 5-4 victory over the RubberDucks on Saturday night at Canal Park. Dustin Lawley and Aderlin Rodriguez supplied two-run extra-base hits in the decisive inning to lead Binghamton to their third straight win.

Aderlin Rodriguez delivered a tie-breaking single in the third and the B-Mets pitching staff kept Akron off the board over the final seven innings for Binghamton’s second straight win.
