  • Five B-Mets named Eastern League All-Stars

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Mets will send five representatives to the 2013 Eastern League All-Star Game in New Britain, Connecticut on Wednesday, July 10. Cesar Puello, Josh Rodriguez, Allan Dykstra, Logan Verrett and Jeff Walters will play for the Eastern Division team and battle the Western Division squad at New Britain Stadium.

    Portland, ME (WBNG Binghamton) Erik Goeddel struck out seven over seven shutout innings to earn his seventh win as the Binghamton Mets defeated the Portland Sea Dogs, 3-0, Monday night at Hadlock Field.

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Rhyne Hughes’ three-run home run capped a four-run ninth inning comeback, and Josh Rodriguez’s walk-off double in the tenth pushed the Binghamton Mets past the Erie SeaWolves, 6-5 Saturday night at NYSEG Stadium.
