    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Bighamton) The Binghamton Mets scored four unanswered runs, highlighted by a three-run fourth inning, in a 4-2 win over the Trenton Thunder Sunday afternoon at NYSEG Stadium. Four pitchers combined to hold Trenton to four hits, and just one after the third inning. The win helped the B-Mets avoid a sweep and move within one game of first place.

    Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Trenton Thunder scored three runs before the first out and never looked back in a 4-2 win over the Binghamton Mets Saturday night at NYSEG Stadium. Binghamton had 10 hits, but went 3-for-14 with men in scoring position. The B-Mets suffered their third straight loss for the first time since June 27th, dropping to 1.5 games out of first place.

    Richmond, VA (WBNG Binghamton) Joe Benson supplied a pinch-hit go-ahead single in the sixth, one of Binghamton’s five hits with runners in scoring position, to push the B-Mets past the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 6-5, on Saturday night at The Diamond. The B-Mets withstood a 14-hit attack from the Squirrels en route to their league-best 22nd one-run win.
