It's been a very good holiday break for the B-Sens.
They're on a five-game point streak and thanks to the schedule, they've had the past five days to spend with friends and family.
Tonight, everyone was back in town and back to work.
The team skated for about 45 minutes at the Arena in preparation for tomorrow's game with Syracuse.
The guys say the time with family and friends helped recharge their batteries and made them even hungrier to come back to the team.
"All the guys tonight, they showed up, they've got a smile, and they're all happy to come back so it's always great when you have the four or five days off to come back and be all together again," says captain Denis Hamel, who spent his break in Montreal with family.
Ryan Shannon spent his break with his family in Connecticut.
He adds,"You become a family in here so really, just not seeing the guys for five days, you get back, and it's like, hey, what's going on, haven't seen you in a while, so it gives you a lot of energy and hopefully we can do something with it."
The Sens are tied with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for the fourth and final playoff spot in the division.
