With the fall sports season just about wrapping up, it's time to move the games inside.
But the Binghamton Senators are doing the opposite.
They are officially heading outside for a February 20th game at Syracuse.
Today it was made official that the Mirabito Outdoor Classic will take place at the New York State fairgrounds in Syracuse.
All along the Syracuse Crunch wanted Binghamton to be a part of the game, and the team's executive vice president was open to taking part, as long as he was assured of some details up front.
The B-Sens are helping to sell tickets to the game, but all the risk in holding an event falls on Crunch ownership.
The B-Sens are not paying anything for the game, but do hope to make it a success.
