Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Rest or rust?
It's one of the two for the Binghamton Senators.
They have been off for 6 straight days, and still have a few more to wait before they finally get to play in the Calder Cup finals.
They tried to break up the practice monotony with a little inter squad scrimmage Tuesday.
But some extra rest has been good for a team that has battled through injuries this post season.
"In the playoffs it's the first chance we've had to sit around. When everybody is healthy that just means you have way too much time on your hands. So to go into this series with pretty much everybody ready to go...that doesn't normally happen," says head coach Kurt Kleinendorst.
Tuesday night the B-Sens finally learned they will face Houston in the Calder Cup finals.
The Aeros topped Hamilton 4-3 in game 7.
They will host game 1 on Friday at 7:35 CST.
