Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It appears the Binghamton Senators will have over a week off, before they continue their quest for the 2011 Calder Cup.

The start of the finals is scheduled for Friday.

The B-Sens held practice Saturday morning, after taking the last two days off to celebrate their 2011 Eastern Conference Finals sweep over Charlotte.

Coach Kurt Kleinendorst says he didn't expect his guys to be perfect.

Saturday's practice was more about effort.

Players and coaches say they'll keep working hard right through the start of the playoffs.

"We're happy to be in the finals I guess. We still have got work to do and we want to win it all. Who we play, it doesn't matter. They're going to be playing their best hockey obviously and we'll be ready no matter what," says captain Ryan Keller.

"The only thing is Hamilton is a little easier to get to than Houston but other than that, I think you've got two very good teams. Both teams have strong goal tending. I mean you're not in the game at this time of year if you don't have a pretty good squad," says head coach Kurt Kleinendorst.

Houston leads the Western Conference Finals 3 games to 2 over Hamilton, with game 6 on Sunday night.

The B-Sens went 0-2 against Hamilton this year, but did not play Houston.
