Eight straight is certainly pretty great for the B-Sens, but what about nine? That would be a pretty special win for Binghamton, who currently is the hottest team in the A-H-L.

Not only do the B-Sens own the longest active winning-streak in the league, but a win Friday night at home against Portland and the B-Sens will tie a franchise record with nine straight wins. That mark was previously set back in January of 2005. Coach Luke Richardson attributes the streak to the atmosphere around the team.

"I think the last couple of weeks during this streak, or through the month really of November, it's the consistency of their play, and if there's a bad shift we don't let it snowball," said Richardson. "We've been physically strong all year and we work at that every day,"

Binghamton is back on the ice Friday against Portland before Norfolk comes to town Saturday night.
