Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators will have to wait to find out who they will play in the 2011 Calder Cup Finals.
The Binghamton Senators are flying high after sweeping the Eastern Conference Finals and making it to the Calder Cup Finals.
And the B-Sens are clicking on all cylinders.
9 players had at least 1 goal in the Charlotte series, with 6 more chipping in an assists.
Coach Kurt Kleinendorst says the B-Sens success in the playoffs has been a total team effort.
"You just never know which group is going go get it done for us. Sometimes, it's the power play. We've stepped up a little bit scoring a few short handed goals. Some nights it's a line. Some nights it's a defenseman. But this group, you just don't know. There's no consistency to what we do, except for everybody contributes," he says.
"We're scoring at the right moments. We're playing solid defensively at the right moments. They got a break on the 3-3 goal, coming through that and taking it pretty deep into the 4th period was proving some character I think," says rookie goalie Robin Lehner.
After taking Friday off, the B-Sens will be back at practice Saturday.
