They're still waiting for a complete 60 minute effort, and each game there seem to be new issues popping up.
But anyone who has seen the Binghamton Senators play this season would agree they probably deserve to be around .500.
Of course that's exactly where they are after winning 2 of their 3 games over the weekend.
But still, there is work to be done.
The most glaring example popping up in the first period Saturday night, when the team was held to just 1 shot in a period for the second time this season.
Coach Kurt Kleinendorst says, " Maybe just a young team that's still growing. We haven't figured it out yet, you know? Always, obviously a little concerning because it's happened a number of times, actually. That's a little bit of a red flag. But then all of a sudden we go out and have a good stretch."
Forward Nikita Filatov says, " Pretty much every time we get a chance we're doing it. We're taking rebounds and getting hard working goals. Of course you always think about it, especially on the power play. You want to establish a shot right away, so those things matter."
The Sens hope to get that offense going on the road, where they are 2-0 so far this season.
They play in Norfolk back to back nights on Friday and Saturday.
