B-Sens Happy To Have Day Off

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) After a day off for travel, the Binghamton Senators were back at work Sunday morning for a light practice before the Eastern Conference Finals resume on Tuesday.

The Sens currently lead the best of 7 series 2 games to none after winning the first two in Charlotte.

Game three is at home on Tuesday night.

Players and coaches say it's nice to have a couple of days off between games, especially with all the travel they've been doing in the playoffs.

"Whenever you can take couple days between games its big, give rest to your body, heal up injuries and all that stuff. We're almost 100 games into season so your body is not perfect all year and you have to take a rest so I think its only good thing," says Kaspars Daugavins.

"We've played a lot of hockey and in the first two series, we played 3 games in 4 days and there was a lot of travel in between the two so I think it's really important to get these days off," says Colin Greening.

The Sens will have practice tomorrow, before hosting game 3 Tuesday.

Binghamton is 0 and 2 in game threes at home this season.

They'll look to reverse that trend on Tuesday night.

Game time is 7:05 pm.
