Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) For one last time this season the Binghamton Senators had to punch the proverbial time clock for a work day.
Although admittedly, this wasn't exactly a heavy lifting day.
After travelling back from Houston, visiting their assistant coach in the hospital and weaving through the down town streets in a victory parade, all the team had to do today was take a picture.
Granted a picture that they'll always remember.
But the team had to pay a price for this keepsake....the playoff beards had to come off.
"It feels pretty good. Ya know...its fun having it for a few months and I guess we're going back to shaving every other day but uh...look a little bit younger now I guess," says Corey Locke.
"It feels nice to have the scruff off the face. Kinda got used to it actually. I look in the mirror now and I'm like who is that guy but its nice to have it off. A couple of girls said they like the beard actually, I think they're lying to be but its good," says Ryan Potulny.
