Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

The B-Sens have had a couple of days to celebrate it's first round come from behind win against Manchester.
Now, it's time to put that behind them and focus on their next opponent, Portland.

Players and coaches say the 7 game first round series against Manchester was good for the B-Sens because it was a learning experience.
And they believe that experience will make them an even more dangerous team against Portland, who had the top record in the Atlantic division and second best record in the East.

"I think if anything, we learned what it takes to win hockey games in the playoffs and what we need to do. In those last few games, we played with more intensity, we played with more urgency early and didn't let things slip away from us and we can learn from that."

"It's just an emotional roller coaster that can be there. It's the grind of it. It's the same opponent, it's the adjustments you have to make as a team, it's adjustments guys have to make as individuals, you just cannot gain that kind of experience unless you experience it."

Speaking of playoff experience, the teams leading scorer Corey Locke practiced and it's possible he'll be ready to go when the series opens.

Game one will be Wednesday at 7:00 pm in Portland.
