Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)
The postseason is a roller coaster.
But consider just how low the ride was.
In the first round, Binghamton trailed 3 games to one.
And then in game 6, faced a penalty shot in overtime.
Somehow they won, each game in overtime, and now are 4 wins from the city's first ever Calder Cup championship.
But last night was all about the overtime excitement as the B-Sens bench exploded after Ryan Keller's overtime goal.
Then as the team filed into their locker-room to celebrate, the roller coaster ride starts to seem a little unreal.
" Sometimes it's funny how things work. We are a little bit lucky I guess to still be standing. We could've easily gone out in the first round. Again, the resiliency and character and everything else is probably why we're still here."
Binghamton is still awaiting their final round opponent.
Houston leads 3 games to 1, with game 5 coming in Hamilton on Friday.
