Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton)

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins shutout the Binghamton Senators 1-0 in mid-week hockey action at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Scott Munroe stopped all 25 Binghamton shots en route to earning his third shutout of the season (second against the B-Sens) and improve to 3-2-2 on the season.

Matt Rust generated all the offense the Penguins would need as he ripped a shot past Robin Lehner off a face-off in the Binghamton zone at 4:51 of the first period.

In total Lehner stopped 35 of 36 shots for the B-Sens.
