Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Members of the Binghamton Senators hang up the skates for the night for a great cause.
The B-Sens took to Oakdale Mall this evening for a pet supply drive.
The team sold calendars signed by players to raise money for the annual Paws for a Cause program.
The calendars featured team members with their animals and with cats and dogs that are up for adoption.
"Charitable work can go in a lot of different areas and some people prefer to work with children, also work with hospitals.. My experience is sometimes pets get forgotten and left behind.... So for me to help out it means a lot and community supporting it does too." said B-Sens Goalie Mike McKenna.
The Team will also be selling the calendars at all remaining home games.
The calender cost $20, and all the money went towards helping the Broome County Humane Society.
