B-Sens announce several home games; Cowick re-signs with Sens

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Binghamton Senators will host games the weekend following Thanksgiving, the day after Christmas and on New Years Eve during the 2013-14 season.

The B-Sens released a select group of guaranteed home games on Tuesday.

Those dates are the home opener on October 5, November 15, November 30, December 26 and December 31.

The full AHL schedule is set to be released in August.

Cowick re-signs with Ottawa
Corey Cowick has spent part of his last three seasons with the Binghamton Senators, and could make it four after being re-signed on Tuesday.

Ottawa re-signed Cowick to a one-year, two-way contract.

With the B-Sens last year he played in 72 regular season games while scoring 16 goals and recording 19 assists. He also played in all three of Binghamton's playoff games.

Cowick was drafted by Ottawa during the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and has since played in 150 AHL games. He has also spent time with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
